Rebel Wilson revealed that she used Ozempic for a while to help her lose weight.

During an interview with the Sunday Times published on Sunday (31), the actress said she admitted that she took the type 2 diabetes drug for maintenance purposes after losing 80 kilos.
“Someone like me could have a bottomless appetite for sweets, so I think those drugs can be good”, said Rebel, and explained that she no longer uses the drug. “Basically no one apart from my mom wanted me to lose weight”, she added.
“People thought I’d lose my pigeonhole in my career, playing the fat funny character, and they wanted me to continue in that”, she said. Rebel embarked on her “year of health” in 2020 after a fertility doctor told her she had a better chance of having a successful IVF if she lost weight.
After she reached her goal weight, Rebel said that she is now at a comfortable weight where she feels “curvy and solid”. The actress also welcomed her daughter Royce Lillian via surrogate in November 2022, with her fianceé Ramona Agruma.
