Biden seeks support from Taylor Swift to increase popularity

Date:

Joe Biden has had serious difficulties increasing his popularity in the hope of being reappointed as President of the United States of America.

Given the recent drop in approval among the electorate, which is also felt among Democrats and younger people, the current President’s solution seems to be Taylor Swift.

With this, Biden’s campaign will be trying to recruit the singer as an influencer for the Presidential campaign, with a view to increasing her popularity ratings and increasing voting intentions, according to information from the Telegraph.

Thus, the Democrat’s campaign idea will involve convincing Taylor Swift to support him on social media, increasing his support among younger voters. This support is considered key in swing states, where the party’s main mission is to convince people to vote.

It is worth remembering that younger people have been against the President’s measures and policies, as they support the Palestinian cause and disagree with the foreign policy promoted by Biden, who does not intend to review the usual North American guidelines.

Swift has been making headlines in the country’s press in recent weeks, having been named “Person of the Year” for 2023 by Time magazine.

The success of the “Eras” tour, which passes through Portugal in May, and the relationship with Travis Kelce, an American football player who will compete in the Super Bowl in February, have constantly made headlines around the world.

Furthermore, in 2020, Taylor Swift supported Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the race for the White House and is considered a Democrat for her support for LGBTQ rights and the right to abortion.

The singer has 279 million followers on Instagram and has previously shown that she can captivate her followers on political issues: in September last year, she called on everyone to register to vote and, according to vote.org, this ‘call’ worked in more than 35 thousand registrations.
