“Inside Out 2”, gets first teaser and release date for June 2024

“Inside Out 2”, sequel to Pixar’s 2015 animation, received its first full teaser today (09), which introduces the new emotion: Anxiety.

The preview, which shows the emotions dealing with the news that comes with Riley’s growth, can be seen above.

Therefore, in the new film, the character of Ansiedade will be voiced by Maya Hawke. The premiere of Inside Out 2 is scheduled for June 2024 – information made official by the release of a new poster, which also says: “Big changes. New emotions”

The new film will be directed by Kelsey Mann, who will make her directorial debut on a feature film, but has previously worked in other departments within Pixar.

It’s worth remembering that the 2015 film focuses on Riley, a pre-teen who goes through different emotions when moving from the Midwest to San Francisco.

The emotions Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness live at Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help her with advice daily. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to her new life in San Francisco, the turmoil at Headquarters increases.

Furthermore, the first film grossed $858.8 million worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing films in the studio’s history.
