The team is helping and working to have his account restored and is in contact with Meta, the company that owns the social media platform. Solomon had been using his profile to show support for Israel and, this week (7), it was suspended without any of his posts being available to view.

It is suspected that Instagram deactivated his profile due to a series of complaints received about his posts. Telegraph Sport reported that Solomon’s representatives insisted that he did not publish any anti-Palestinian material, but only criticized the Hamas attack and supported the Israelis who were injured and died.

The Israeli Football Federation published a photo of Solomon on its Instagram account, with his mouth taped shut, with the caption  “The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. so help you God! @instagram”.
