Last Thursday (19), Ed Sheeran, 31, used his Instagram account to announce the arrival of his second daughter. The singer and his wife, Cherry Searbon, 31, are also parents to little Lyra Antarctica, born in August 2020.
Fans were shocked by the publication, as the couple had not commented on the pregnancy. “What?”, “My God! Congratulations”, they commented. In the photo, Sheeran recreates the post he made for the birth of his first child, with a pair of baby socks on a blanket.
“Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x”, wrote in the caption of the post.
Ed and Cherry started dating in 2015, the singer’s best friend Taylor Swift ended up revealing the couple by sharing a photo of the two kissing. In 2019 they got married in an intimate ceremony. The singer’s worldwide hit song “Shape of You” is dedicated to his wife.
